Back in March 2004, we sold our house, which we bought 2 years earlier, for a 63% gain above what we paid for it. We were all set to buy a section and build a bigger new house, to meet our personal needs and increase our wealth, so we thought! Until, we had a meeting with John Cassidy.  
He suggested that we consider looking at residential rental investments and also consider renting ourselves.
This took some understanding, but we trust John and the 6 step process he provides made it easy to understand.
So after initiating a plan/ strategy we were able to purchase 3 rental investments and also invested the rest of our money into another venture. 
John went to great lengths to explain debt/ service ratio with us. We learnt how to increase wealth by reducing the ratio of debt to the bank and at the same time, having your properties increase in value. i.e. So, when we bought our house in 2002 our debt ratio was 85%.
We reduced it to 80% after we bought 3 rental investment properties.
Now our debt ratio has reduced to 55% and naturally our equity has increased. 
We have in excess of $610k in property that is self servicing the debt and by our calculations have at least 230% in equity gain after the sale of our house.
We have John Cassidy to thank for giving us the best planning and guidance for investing in residential property so we can seriously grow our wealth.
